Breakfast Help Needed

We will be staying at the Disney Ambassador Hotel for 3 nights in October (2 park days). I am a bit concerned about how to find something for breakfast with enough time to get to the Happy Entry line as early as necessary. I looked at the restaurants in the hotel and can't really see much at all for breakfast. Also I am gluten intolerant so that adds to the drama! Any suggestions of how people do this? Not sure, as we are seniors, if we can just go without breakfast and then ride several rides while we wait it out. Your help and ideas are most appreciated!

Google translate is your friend especially the picture translation function for food packaging. It takes a long time while shopping but it helped me navigate being GF in Japan. The breakfast buffets at the Disney hotels aren’t cheap but I could eat some items enough to fill me up and were my best meal of the day when staying at TDL. GF meals at the parks are pretty much kids meals everywhere. I ate a lot of gelatin with fruit in it over 4 days as that was included in all the allergy meals. I would highly recommend bringing some hearty protein bars from home for breakfast if you don’t want to have a sit down meal. My favorite is the Gatorade protein bars they keep me full for a long time with 20g of protein, they do have a fair amount of sugar though too which makes them taste so yummy, but if you are watching sugar I wouldn’t recommend them.

We never made time to explore Ikspari so I have no recommendations about food options there.

Thanks so much for this information. I know you mentioned kids meals in the parks as being viable options. I was looking at several restaurants that seem to have the curry/rice and stew/rice options as the GF choice in both parks. Did you ever try that at all?

No, I did not try the curry or stew as it looked like gross slop in a bowl. I enjoy curries but meatless was a no thanks from me, we avoided all the restaurants that had that as the only allergy option. Queen of Hearts was my favorite of the kids allergy meals. We also found some great GF restaurants throughout Japan using the find me GF app if you don't have it already. We have found some wonderful restaurants over the years with the app all over the world.

Thank you. I downloaded the app and it sounds like it will be most useful.
