Hi all,

I wondered if anyone could offer some advice about breakfast at the Disneyland Hotel.

We normally stay at the Santa Fe and because our daughter uses a wheelchair, we normally get a mark on our hotel pass that means we don't normally queue for breakfast - a cast member usually shows us to our table....can anyone tell me if they do this at the Disneyland Hotel?

Thanks
Steve

All guests get shown to a table in DLH, Newport Bay, Sequoia Lodge and New York - its only Cheyenne and Santa Fe where you have to find your own table

Thanks IASW - how about queuing up?
I certainly don't mind queuing up, but we've never had to at the Santa Fe...

Do you mean queuing to be seated at a table? Ive stayed at DLH on a couple of trips and never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table however you may possibly have to wait if the tables available aren't wheelchair accessible or if space is an issue.
The breakfast is a buffet so you will need to get about to get your food unless you collect your daughters food for her.
Breakfast is served in both Inventions and California Grill and they also sometimes use a small conference room as an overflow - if I remember rightly the food area in California Grill is up a step so wouldn't be accessible (I can't remember a ramp but there may have been) however the food area in Inventions is easily accessible but one section of the seating area is up a step so they wouldn't seat you here.
Hope that makes sense

Thanks again IASW.

Yes - I mean queuing to be shown to a table :)

We've only ever stayed at the Santa Fe before and the queue to get into the breakfast hall can be absolutely huge.
However, whenever we've checked in at the Santa Fe, the CM's have always made a point of telling us that the kind of Hotel EasiPass they give us means that instead of joining the queue, we should go to either the check-in or information desks and a CM would take us into the dining hall, usually via the exit.

We've been for dinner and brunch at Inventions before but never breakfast.
I just wondered whether they operated the same policy as the Santa Fe...

Seeing as the DLH is so close to the park one option to avoid the busiest time is to go to EMH then come back for breakfast. And I don't recall waiting more than ten minutes when we went between 8-8:30am which is probably when most people turn up.
