Trying to plan a few PS for our December trip (i know its early) and can't decide on a good breakfast for our MK day. There will be 6 of us ranging in ages from a 17 year old boy to a 79 year old grandma plus a 2 year old tot. We'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge but have Whispering Canyon planned for furthur along in the week.

I'm trying to find something at MK or at one of the monorail resorts since i figure this will make transportation easiest. Any ideas?

Character breakfasts are fun for young and older alike. Dh & I enjoyed them even before dd was born, LOL!!

Some fun breakfasts along the monorail line include O'Hana's and Chef Mickey's. 1900 Park Fare is also a character breakfast but I think they have the best food out of MANY of the breakfast buffets at WDW. I highly recommend that one.

Trail's End Buffeteria at FW has a good, inexpensive buffet breakfast. You can pick up the boat there and then head to MK by boat afterwards.

I've heard CP in MK is a good breakfast although I've never done breakast there (it is a character breakfast with Pooh & Friends).

If you don't have a character meal scheduled, I would do it for breakfast! Prices are lower and the buffets, especially, usually have something for everyone. And you're never too old to hug Mickey!

Chef Mickeys would be a great choice, since you can grab the boat from WL and go straight to Contemporary. ONce finished, you can hop the monorail to MK =)

If your gang would rather see Pooh and Friends, Crystal Palace inside MK would be a good choice, too!

Crystal Palace has a good breakfast if you want to eat at MK. I always make an early PS so we get done before the park opens (hopefully) and its not as crowded.

If you don't want to eat in the park we really like 1900 Park Fare's breakfast buffet also, and you can't go wrong with Chef Mickey's. If you don't want to do a character breakfast then I would recommend Kona Cafe or Grand Floridian Cafe.

We love the Trail's End at FW and since your'e staying at the WL it's only a short, relaxing boat ride away, then you can take the boat over to MK...

We love having breakfast at Kona's at the Poly! We have brkfst ther most every trip! Then after bkfst, it is a quick monorail ride to MK!

As far as food goes, we've eaten at Crystal Palace, Ohana's and Park Fare on the monorail or in the MK for breakfast. Our fav ... by far ... is Park Fare. We really like the breakfast selections and it is a character meal, also. My parents 74 and 69 also like Park Fare along with our now 7 year old. He started going there at age 2. So, if you want to pick one of them, I would choose Park Fare at Grand Floridian. With us, though, we typically do Crystal Palace and Park Fare. We weren't real keen on Ohana's except for the games.

I'd echo the Chef Mickey's love. Get your picture taken, enjoy the buffet and see all the best Disney characters. Loads of fun.

I recommend the Kona Cafe for breakfast. Try their press pot of Kona coffee and have an order of macadamia nut pancakes with a slice of ham. MMM! :)

Kona Cafe at the Poly..definately. A menu to please everyone..wonderful food.

pirate: We are going to Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare for our character breakfast in October.
