Breakfast dining plan

There's only a single meal, no snack credits, though I understand we can use a meal for snacks. But great advice if we were on the regular QS dining plan

I have not heard of this plan. I have never received free dinning. We buy the next plan up from the QS plan and we also have tables in wonderland. I don,t know if you will have a vehicle to go to town. If you do you will be save money by going to town and buying some snacks. I find food cost at WDW will drive the cost of your trip. way up. If you want to save when you go out of pocket you can actually split some QS meals because portions are large and we find that we can not eat all the food on some meals. Another tip is eat the Turkey legs. Magic kingdom has some spots where you can get a big turkey leg for about five dollars. Good Luck

That's not to say WDW won't crack down. It's a bit like the QS meals on the regular dining plan. For years kids could order an adult meal with no quest in even though the advertised rules said they couldn't. As for turkey legs I agree. Super yucky. They are many things but not edible IMO!!!!!

We were there less than a week ago and there was no difference between adult or kids QS credits.

One QS meal can be exchanged for 3 snacks if you want.

Breakfast at all the All Star resorts is a Quick Service meal on your dinning plan. I do not know which dinning plan you have, but you will use one QS meal at a Value resort for breakfast. It is not the same at a moderate resort. Most moderate resorts will charge you a Table service meal for the same meal you will get at a value resort for breakfast. At Disney world Breakfast is just about the same at most of the resorts. Some do have Mickey waffles where others have pan cakes. The Bounty Platter is the breakfast we eat when we were at Disney. The Bounty platter consist of scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuit, and hash brown potato casserole with waffles or pancakes. There are several other items that you can also have for breakfast. You also can get a soft drink , coffee or in your case they also have tea. Good Luck !

We have always found breakfast to be 1 QS credit regardless of whether the resort is value or moderate, not tried deluxe yet. Have only used a TS credit for character breakfasts in the parks.

I just re read some of this thread and just to correct some misinformation. The type of credit for meals used has absolutely nothing to do with the level of resort. A QS meal can be redeemed at a QS eatery and a TS meal can be redeemed at a TS eatery. The level of resort is irrelevant. The value resorts don't have any TS eateries though. And neither does POFQ.

How do you get it free?
Free food is awesome. Disney does Free Dining promotions periodically.

Free Dining is usually a fall promotion.

• If you book a Value Resort, you will get the Quick Service Dining Plan for free. You can upgrade to the Regular Dining Plan for $19/adult and $3.49/child per night, and you can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for $68.89/adult and $15.09/child per night.
• If you book any other level of resort, you will get the regular Dining Plan for free. You can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for about $49.89/adult and $11.60/child per night.

Note: as long as you arrive by the last day of the promotion, you can enjoy Free Dining during your whole stay.
