On our last morning, we planning on doing one last meal before we leave. Since we're doing DME, we'll have to be ready to leave around 12:30pm. Which one would you do? TIA!!
Personally I would do Chef Mickey's. Since you have to leave by around noon, I wouldn't want to feel like I wasted a park ticket day for a meal, unless your an AP holder then it doesn't matter.
I guess it would depend on if you are going to have park tickets for the day, added day's are pretty cheap, so if you will have tickets, I would suggest CP.
Otherwise, I would do CM.
I'd go with Chef Mickey's too. Same reasons as everyone else.
I know my kids would be "one last ride" -ing me to death if we ate in the park the morning we were leaving. Chef Mickey's was really fun. It's now a must do for my kids!
Oh it's too hard to choose! We absolutely adored both places on our 1st trip so they were both on our 'must-do' list on our second trip and we were not disappointed! Crystal Palace has the edge in food quality and choice (in my opinion); it also has the edge in decor (beautiful place); it has the advantage of giving you early access to the park if you make an ADR for 8.05 (which if I recall is the 1st one available) so you'll see an empty Main Street and unobstructed castle (unless it's an EMH morning in which case thousands of onsite guests will be there too). Both places have fantastic character interaction. You have the opportunity to buy a family photo at Chef Mickeys (very expensive though! 30 something dollars). Of course you'll need park admission for CP. But if you wanted to go to a park anyway that day, definitely it makes sense time-wise to go to Crystal Palace and enjoy MK afterwards. So.... yes, I think I've just voted for Crystal Palace. Though we do actually love both (did I mention that already? )
I find CM a little noisy and I don't really like eating in that vast lobby at the CR. On the other hand CP is in one of the most beautiful buildings on property and its great to get an ADR prior to park opening and have Main St. to yourself.
So, if using a days worth of park tickets is not a problem for you then I would suggest CP. Plus you can get to do your favorite ride one more time before you leave
