On allears.net they don't list the items normally on the buffet for Crystal Palace but they do for Cape May's... curious if they are similar as far as the food goes for breakfast?

I did not look at the menu for Cape May; but CP has all your usual breakfast items. We go to CP breakfast ever trip we take. Its very good and I love Eeyore so I get to see him.

So they are going to have things like muffins or bagels and cold fruits and things... not just bacon and eggs type things? Just want to make sure there is a variety

My Map App has the following description for Crystal Palace breakfast buffet: Fresh Fruit, Pastries, Meats, Eggs, Potatoes, Pizza, Pasta, Oatmeal.

We eat at CP every trip and they have the standard breakfast buffet type items. I know there are bread items but I don't remember specifically what they are - maybe bagels and croissants. There is also an assortment of cereals.

Yes to everything you mentioned! My DH doesnt eat eggs, he usually has french toast or fruit and a muffin.

I dont think it is a problem to find something you like with this buffet. There is a good variety.

I was pleasantly surprised with the buffet at CP. They had your standard bfast items (bagels, toast, eggs, fruit, Mickey waffles), but they had some really delicious additions - "puffed" French toast, a frittata, hash, an awesome potato mixture, etc.

The only other character bfast I've had was at Akershus, and I was amazed at how much better CP was.

Thank you so much for the response! Now would any of you know if it would be better to use the buses to get to MK for breakfast hopefully around 8am on a day that the park opens at 9am or to use a taxi to either TTC and monorail over or Contemporary and then walk into the park?

Do you know how much a taxi costs to get from AllstarMovies to there and how to get a taxi at the resort?

We always do 8 am ADRs before park opening at MK and AK and have had no problems with getting there by bus. I certainly wouldn't pay for a cab when free transportation can get you there. Just be aware that there probably aren't as many buses running that early so you'll want to plan plenty of time to wait for the bus, ride there, and get to your ADR. We've always found it to be very efficient though. Enjoy!!

My response is pretty much the same as CapnJacksGirl. We always do the 8am reservation and have never been late. Last year was the first time we worried, just as we thought the bus would never come, there it was. Besides we noticed that they dont let you in until CP opens, so you get in MK, by the time you walk to CP and check in, they will start calling names to be seated. Have fun!!
