breakfast buffets?

4 of us are going for 2 days in Oct. we would like to try them out. if they are as great as wdw's. questions is we are not staying on dl hotels. we are at anaheim desert inn & suites. 1. what time do the buffets open? 2 are either of them acessable from downtown disney? 3 price? 4 is priorety setting available and what is the time frame to call in? thank you

I highly recommend the character breakfast buffet at the Storytellers Cafe in the Grand Californian. The breakfast was very good. Very easy to get to from DTD. You can make priority settings for here.

I second the Storyteller's breakfast. It was a great buffet, and I loved how we could order mickey-shaped waffles from the kitchen as part of the buffet price! Who can stand around a buffet waiting for them to cook your waffle with two hungry boys at the table.
