Boma is our absolute favorite! It has some similar items to Tusker House (but also lots of different food) so I'd try to space those a few days apart if possible.

Chiming in on Boma - it's our all around favorite breakfast buffet. The variety and quality are top notch, especially for a non-signature.

I'm not a huge fan of buffets but I decided to book Trail's End for breakfast since we are staying at WL. It's just a boat ride from that resort, correct?

Boma at AKL for sure - close to the park, and the breakfast buffet is fabulous! That pecan praline sauce

We love The Wave! If you use WDW transportation, you can walk to The Contemporary from MK bus stop in 10 mins. Then catch bus to AK after from the resort. The food is very tasty, and always fresh.
Another choice is Trails End. A bit tougher to get too, but not unmanageable. Bus to MK, then catch boat to Fort Wilderness. TE is really close to where boats drop off, maybe 5 min walk tops. Then after catch a bus back to front area of FW, then bus to AK

You can. Also, there is a trail, around a mile paved that goes from WL to FW and comes out near the stables that houses a lot of the horses you see at MK. Pretty cool to walk that area. But the TE will be really close in this area.

great suggestions from all...............bottom line for me is............Boma wins by a bit for the food and 1900 Park Fare wins hands down for the atmosphere and characters........as far as getting to the park, since both of these are at resorts you just walk out and take the resort bus.

1900 Park Fare is solid as well, food-wise, but I recommend simply for the Mad Hatter interaction.

how would we get to here from POP and then from here to AK

From Pop to Trail's End, take the MK bus and transfer to the boat for Fort Wilderness. Walk to Pioneer Hall, FW's main building where the restaurant is located.

To get to AK afterward, take a resort bus at FW directly to AK.

I've been wanting to try Boma's breakfast for so long!! Do most people book this for their AK morning? We usually rope drop AK and planned to rope drop next trip... especially with the new Pandora rides. I assume you are behind the crowd by the time you eat and arrive at AK.. even with a 7:30 AM reservation.

We have a Boma ADR for 10:55. Our plan is 8:00 AK, (early morning hours) hit a few things, then breakfast at Boma, heading back to AK for a 12:25 -1:25 fast pass for FOP. I am very excited to check out the resort and breakfast!

1900 Park Fare is my favorite Disney breakfast. Everything about it is outstanding--the food, the characters, the ambiance. Perfection.
