Travel party is DD15 and me. I can't decide between having breakfast at Boma or Tusker House. The character experience doesn't really matter- the food is what's important! :thumbsup2 Boma sounds like a more relaxing way to start the day but Tusker House is in AK, which will save time. I just cannot decide! Which did you like better and why? TIA

As far as food goes I liked Boma better but if given the choice I would only go to Boma if I was staying at AKL. If staying at AKL, it's a no brainer, Boma all the way. In fact I'd probably just start every day at Boma. But if staying somewhere else I'd go with Tuskerhouse. Being in the park before it opens is a great way to start the day, plus it saves time. The food at Tuskerhouse is good, not as good as Boma, but for me it wouldn't be worth getting up earlier and I wouldn't want to miss that precious time when the park first opens and everything isn't as crowded.

Since the characters don't matter I would go for Boma. Boma has way better food and is a little more daring. Goat cheese scrambled eggs instead of regular scrambled eggs. Stuff like that. Boma is my favorite buffet for both dinner and breakfast.

Definitely Boma! Boma breakfast is very good & is nice & relaxing. Tusker House is noisy and the seating is cramped + the character interaction is very rushed.

Boma over Tusker House, hands down.

The food at Boma was way better for us. Tusker House was loud and everything felt rushed.

We haven't eaten at Boma for breakfast, but we ate at Tusker House for breakfast last summer and were not impressed. The service was extremely slow, and it was so crowded that you could hardly move. I was looking forward to it, and I was very disappointed. We had a ressie at 8:05 before the park opened at 9. We got to the park about 7:35-7:40 and found a HUGE line outside the park. To our shock, many people in line ahead of us had ADR's for 9 and later!! They were allowed in the park before us and were seated before us. I could see it if we were late, but we were early. It didn't make any sense...
