Agreed, just depends on what kind of experience you're looking for...fun, lively and little loud or quiet or laid-back, easy-going...they're both great options.

If I had to pick one of the two, I would go with Captain's Grille, but we don't have little ones.

We have two kids age 3&4 and we live both places for breakfast. Captains grille is so yummy and a nice quiet breakfast. Cape may is so fun with the characters

Great restaurant!!! Highly recommend. Characters were friendly!

Cape May. I'm not sure why people always say the characters are great here if they're non-talking characters... I'm sure the same people don't play them everyday Anyways, the food is excellent and lots to choose from.

I can't comment on Cape May as we didn't eat there (planned to until we discovered on Day 1 that the two year old twins were terrified of the characters) but the Captain's Grille breakfast was wonderful. We'll be back there for sure.
