Breakfast at Universal

Can anyone recommend a reasonal place to have breakfast. I am staying at Universal. I think $17.00 a person is a little high for breakfast.

My favourite place is Boulangerie right inside Universal Studios. They make great breakfast croissants with egg, cheese and ham or bacon or no meat plus some fruit for under $5.00

Pastamore also serves breakfast. There is a Cinnabons and another croissant place called Croissant Moon in IOA.

Treat yourself at least once to the breakfast buffet. It is EXCELLENT!!!

i'll second the last posters mention of pastamore and cinnabon. pastamore serves a breakfast pizza by the slice that my wife and i shared--i think it was $3.00 or so. son would get a cinnabon directly across from pastamore. with a drink or 2, we always stayed under $10 for bfast each day.

This is our favorite place for breakfast too! It's so nice to sit outside and watch the world go by. One trip the Marx Bros sat with me and showed me soem card tricks while my DH was getting breakfast Very cute!

They make great muffins and the fruit plate is very fresh.

Oh, and the chocolate filled croissants are to die for! I still remember having my entire hand covered in chocolate from pulling pieces out of the bag...what a delicious way to start the day!

I haven't tried Boulangerie yet (but I will this time) but I have tried Croissant Moon and they are also excellent breakfast sandwiches, not as cheap as Pastamore (which I have also tried and liked). HTH

Also, remember the restaurants at the hotels (Islands Dining Room, The Kitchen, Trattoria Del Porto) also have a breakfast menu besides the buffet.

Royal Pacific Resort has continental breakfast items for sale in the Orchid Court Lounge. Portofino has breakfast items for sale at the Gelateria as well.

There's also a Starbucks in City Walk and also inside of Universal Studios.

Also, I believe Confisco Grille in Islands of Adventure also has a breakfast menu besides their buffet/character breakfast but I'm not sure.

I agree, try the Island's Buffet at RPR. IMO it's the best buffet of the 3 onsite hotels.
