Breakfast at Tusker House- after Sunrise Safari

we are doing the Sunrise safari in Dec on our last day...is the breakfast at Tusker House (after the Safari) the character breakfast?

I just read on another thread that breakfast is no longer at Tusker House after the Safari? does anyone know where it is now?

Once Tusker changed to a character breakfast, they moved the Safari buffet to Pizzafari. No characters and as far as I know, it's just a standard breakfast buffet (although people love the food).

Oh, no! That breakfast at the Tusker House - full of standards as well as African specialties - was fantastic! Are you saying the buffet is now just eggs and stuff?

Disney is really starting to p*** me off!!!

I had much confusion on this as well because I was getting mixed answers even from the AKL conceirge staff. BUT I can tell you that the breakfast buffet is at the Pizzafari location, my Conceirge guy said it is a very nice and relaxing buffet with a lot of food choices on it.

Yes, it's definitely at Pizzafari now. They're not going to throw the safari guests in with the character meal bedlam, thank goodness. Most of the safari guests are adults without kids, at least from my 3 experiences. I've done it in the old days (Tusker House) twice, and once at Pizzafari (last January). In my opinion, there aren't as many unusual items on the breakfast now, and they actually ran out of some stuff and didn't replenish it. It's a much larger, more comfortable room but the food was lacking compared to before.

Sorry, this question is off-topic but is the Sunrise Safari only for Concierge AKL guests? I thought I heard somewhere that it goes to them first, then concierge at other resorts. Am I making that up?

Yes - it is only for concierge guests at AKL. There is another safari type tour that anyone staying concerge can sign up for, but I think it's different, not an early morning plus breakfast thing.

But I could be making THAT up!

the Sunset or "Wanyama Safari " is for anyone staying at AKL...it cost $160. for concierge guest and $210. for non concierge
