I haven't stayed on site at DLP for a few years and can't remember the answer to this question! Do you just turn up for breakfast or do you have to book a time beforehand? If you need to book a time when do you do that? I'm thinking we will need an early time so we can take advantage of EMH so can this be booked before we arrive?
Thanks

You book your time when you check into the hotel however the very early slots are rarely full so you should be fine

I'm pretty certain that you cannot prerequest breakfast times, they are allocated on arrival. But even with a later slot we have never had a problem arriving earlier at the restaurant, 7.00- 7.30 was a very nice time as the restaurant was always reasonably empty, whereas when we were leaving between 7.30 and 8.00 (our allocated time) queues were starting to form. This was at SL but I don't think you'll have a problem at any of the Disney hotels, they're pretty flexible. :)

I would agree with Jill here - we were given an early slot (7.30) one morning, and 8.30 the next. The 8.30 slot was on an EMH day, so we went for breakfast at about 7.15 that day, and there was no problem at all - the restaurants are very rarely busy so early in the morning.

This was at the Cheyenne, and I've had the same sort of thing at the Santa Fe.

You get your choice of slots (subject to availability) for the duration of your stay when you check in.

Thanks for the info. We will want early breakfasts so we can make use of EMH. We are staying at the New York like I did on my last trip, but I can't remember what times we went for breakfast then!

That's good - you must have been reading my mind!!

I have got the Santa Fe number in hand and was ready to call and ask for a 7-7.30 breakfast time.

I feel more relieved now!

You don't get given times for breakfast at the New York, it's any time from 7am, you just go when you want.

We're just back from the Chyenne, we were given little cards for breakfast times but we were able to ask for certain times. Although we forgot to get them early for our last morning and ended up with the only times they had left!! So remember to get them asap!

to be honest, the times on the card don't mean all that much - i think they are just in place in an attempt to stagger the breakfasts - but we have often slept in until 10 with a half 8 breakfast pass, and still got in no questions asked - they even let you in if you only have your hotel id.

I assumed they had done away with the little coloured breakfast cards, the last twice we've been our breakfast time has been stamped onto the back of the hotel ID card.

thats good to know
what kind of breakfast do you get

Cereals, bread, croissants, brioche, spreads ie jam, nutella etc, fruit salad, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurts, fresh fruit, plus milk and hot drinks.

Have I forgotten anything guys?
