Breakfast at Hollywood Studios

Hey all,

My family will be staying at the CBR and are looking to rope drop one morning at Hollywood Studios.

We have Sci-Fi lunch reservations, but the only time we could pull up was 2:40. We will definitely need to eat breakfast that morning to hold off our appetite until then.

Figured maybe after hitting up TSM first thing we could eat breakfast inside the park, but wasn't sure if there are any options. Any suggestions for a counter service breakfast? We are on the dining plan so would prefer to use a counter service credit for this meal.

If the options are limited inside the park then we will probably just eat breakfast at Old Port Royale food court in the hotel before heading out to the park, but it would be nice to get some extra sleep instead of allotting more time before entering DHS.

Starring Rolls has some breakfast pastries and bagels, but nothing too hardy. You might could use a QS credit for 3 snack items here, but don't know for sure.

Starbucks has breakfast sandwiches, and you can probably use a QS credit for a sandwich and a drink, but it's not the best use of a credit, financially. You would NOT get the dessert entitlement, so it would be just the sandwich and a drink. They also have pastries, and I'm pretty sure you CAN do the QS to 3 snacks with them. Unfortunately, the sandwiches are NOT snack items.

I think you are either going to have to use snack credits and grab a pastry and a drink or eat at your resort before hand.

Starring Rolls is your best bet.

This made me sad, as my family would head right to Star Tours at rope drop, and I would go into Writer's Stop for muffins, bagels, or whatever looked good. Good ol' Writer's Stop, may you rest in peace . . .

Starring Rolls for sure. We eat there every year. Although it does get very busy and the service inside does not seem very organised. There were rumours when one of the merchandise shops closed two years ago it would house a new, bigger Starring Rolls, but alas Starbucks won
