I was thinking of doing breakfast at H&V before RD at DS. Not really interested in the characters but we like to do a big breakfast and then dinner.

What are your thoughts on the food - quality and what is offered?

With an 8AM ressie should we be done by RD? Where do we go from the restaurant for RD? Where in relation to TSM will this be?

Thanks!

We had an 8:00 am ADR at H&V last Wednesday (11/12th). We were done by 8:50. We were still roped off - so there was no real advantage there. But we were "in" the park already when it opened.

We enjoyed the food. The had the typical eggs, bacon, sausage, Mickey waffles - along with choriso & egg/tortillas, cereal, croissants and even corn beef hash. Also fresh fruit. Everything tasted just fine.

Thanks. When you got out, how fart was it to TSM and were you able to get there along with the rest of the entry crowds?

How busy/noisy was H&V at that time?

Would you recommend for one who wants a solid breakfast but doesn't want to loose any time and it is our one DS day?

H&V is really close to the entrance. It is the the left of where they rope people off. So you really are not ahead of the crowds that are heading toward TSM.

When we were heading toward TSM my DDs saw characters and wanted to stop. So we did. We got to TSM at 9:30, the park was opened for a whole 30 minutes. TSM was already showing a 50 minute wait to ride. The Fast passes all had lines. I got in line and our fast pass was for 12:00 noon.

I don't know what to tell you - this was our very first time at Disney. I didn't see where being at H&V helped you get to TSM any quicker. You were in the park, but you were on the wrong side for how they direct you to get to TSM. The CMs move visitors around the wizard's hat to the right of the park and back, and at H&V you are roped off to the left.

When we went to H&V we were the first ones in - and it was not crowded, loud or noisy while we were there.
