We have been to Disney many times but NEVER on the dining plan as we usually stay at the campground in our camper. We are going to Orlando for a convention and want to slide in a day (or two) at the end of the convention. Through my research I can not find what you actually get for a counter service at the food court for breakfast. I am trying hard to sell my DH on doing the dining plan and need to show him what our expenses will most likely be without the plan. Due to the scheduling we will need to use 2 of our counter service in one day PLUS our table service so I thought it may work to get a quick breakfast at the food court before heading to Magic Kingdom. We are planning to stay at one of the all stars. Any help??
Thanks!
Ellen

Typically breakfast is a waste on the dinning plan. This is because breakfast is the cheapest meal of the day. If you want to see the menus, go to the top of this page and click "Dining" and there is a link to see the menus w/prices.

Having breakfast at most resort is a waste of credit. For exemple at POR you can have a QS breakfast for $8.

Breakfast would be a platter - eg eggs, biscuit and bacon and a drink not a good use of a QS credit.

Main street bakery at MK did a filled breakfast croissant, large pastry and a drink for a QS credit.

Remember credits last until midnight on check out day.

By buying breakfast on the DDP you are also giving up the dessert allotment. There is no dessert at breakfast, and they no longer give anything as a substitute.
