Well we arrive in WDW in 39 days and DS pops up and says he would like to go to a breakfast buffet. We wanted to try Chef Mickey's for breakfast but it was full our whole trip. So we were able to get an ADR for CP.

So long story short, How is the breakfast at CP? How does it compare to CM. Should we keep trying to get CM or just go with what we got. Our ADR time is 8:25. I like that time, we can get in and get out and start hitting the rides before the park gets crowded.

I cannot comment on CM for breakfast (we went for dinner) but we went to CP for breakfast and enjoyed it. The food and the character interaction was really good and we went later in the morning.

I haven't tried CM yet, but we really liked CP. Our ADR was at 8:05 and we got to enter MK before opening and roam around an empty Main St. for awhile. The Pooh characters were fun, we had good service, and enjoyed the food. Love the Mickey waffles. I think you'll like CP. We are giving it a second go round next trip and will try CM for dinner.

I've never been to CM for breakfast, only dinner. However, CP Breakfast is a must for us. The food is good, the service is great and the characters are fun. We always try for an 8:05am ressie that way we can walk up Main Street before opening and have the whole castle to ourselves. Love CP Breakfast. Enjoy!

Off subject, but who's the picture of the basketball player in your avatar tndisneyfan? I am from East TN too and I'm trying to figure out if I recognize that guy.

We've done both CM & CP. This past trip we did CP breakfast twice & skipped CM. We prefer the food & atmosphere at CP. My DS loves the offerings at CP, esp the made to order pancakes. I recommend giving it a try & hope you enjoy it. Character interaction was great there.:goodvibes

This is a must do for me as i am in love with the Puffed French Toast. Not to mention that my DD 5 loves Pooh and always asks "when are we going to have breakfast with pooh again". You'll never know if you like it until you try it so go for it!!!!:)

In my opinion the food at CP is a bit better than CM, though I thought CM was pretty good. The atmosphere and the layout is better at CP, but you get Pooh and Tigger instead of Mickey and Minnie.

I prefer CP for breakfast over CM's.

First of all, CP is inside MK so you can't beat that!! We usually try to make it to MK for park opening and have a late breakfast ADR. Depending on the crowds, we may leave after breakfast and go back to the resort or hit more rides.

The food is probably basically the same for food except CP has that puffed french toast that is just SO good!!! I also enjoyed the breakfast pizza at CP. Lots of fresh fruit and just basic breakfast stuff.

The atmosphere is much more soothing. CM is very high energy, lots of celebrating, towel waving, etc. And the decor is more energetic then CP. I really like CP for its decor, the natural light, the plants and topiary, etc. Its just a beautiful room.

It seems that Mickey and Minnie should be at CP since its in MK, but the Pooh characters are fun too.

Long story short - I think you will find a new favorite in CP.

I like the food at both. I particularly like CP, if I get an early morning ressie, I love walking down Main Street when it is near empty. I feel like I have the park all to myself.

That's Lady Vol Candace Parker going up for a dunk. I wish it could be a little bigger because you can't see any detail. If I didn't know I wouldn't be able to tell who it is either.

CP wins hands down. i find the food at CM to be cafeteria level at best, yuck at its worst (excluding dessert.)

We've been to both and I would have to agree that the food is better at CP then at CM. Like others have mentioned the Puffed French Toast, made to order Pancakes and Omelets, can't be beat! :lovestruc

Plus, your ADR is before the park opens (unless it's a EHM morning), so you'll have some great photo opp's before you eat! ;)

Don't worry...CP is a great place for breakfast, plus the restaurant is beautiful and the characters are fun. I'm sure you'll enjoy it! :thumbsup2
