I have two questions, please......

Is this really that hard to get?

Also, if I am staying at POFQ, realistically, how long should we allow to get there for our reservations.

Yes it is hard to get but sooo worth it is you have daughters or you are a castle lover. They will hold your ps for you. We were a half hor late and it was fine. Good luck.

if you are on the phone right at or a few minutes before dining opens exactly 90 days out you should be fine. i have never had problems at the 90 day mark. good luck! :earboy2:

I called for a ressie last week for the week of April 25 and they were booked. The CM told me I might have better calling the week before we leave right up to the day we leave and even try while we are there. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy for CRT....and if people just don't show up for a ressie they loose their deposit.

As far as how long it will take to get there - when I made all of my PS this week the CM - who I might add was absolutely wonderful - told me that I should ask in Guest Services how long it will take for each destination so I can allow enough time. They should be able to help you out!

Yes, plan on making your CRT resssie for the first day of arrival, that way if you do not receive it you can try the next day and the next. I have had friends who tried for 7 days to not get anything. If you get the first one, and it is not the day you want. you can call the other day and try again, but if you don't get it you have a back up, if you do, you can cancel the other one.

Is it worth it??? Well my daughter LOVES it, but I am going to try to convince her not to do it this time. With no breakfast vouchers, how expensive it is, how bad the food selection is.... I would rather not use the money.

I was able to get it first try at the 90 day mark. We are also staying at POFQ would love to know how early we should leave. Are PS is for 9:55. So I figured we would leave the hotel by 8:45.

I called this morning and got them, no problem. Cindy's for breakfast on June 3rd @ 9:10 AM. I will leave POFQ at 7:45 just so that I can get that picture in front of the castle.

I tried for a whole week trying to get PS for breakfast with no luck. DS will turn 7 while we are @ Disney last week of April and that is all he wants to do for his birthday. He loves the food there. I keep trying with no luck. Hopefully someone will cancel and I'll be able to get DS his wish for his birthday.

FYI, when we ate dinner @ Cinderella's on 2/18, Cinderella did appear around 5:15 p.m. in the lobby area for pictures, etc. What a great photo op.

We mentioned this to our waitress and she indicated that that the CM's have been advised that a "Royal Lunch" will be forthcoming sometime later this Spring. She was unsure of a date, but if you don't care what meal you eat with the Princess, I'd ask when making my other PS. Good Luck-have a great time.

We did it, it was fun, but I would not do it again.

The food was mediocre. I liked the fruit and pastry basket the most. The bacon was greasy, the eggs were okay, the sausage was gross and I did not care for that fried-filled pastry at all. Not worth $22 a head.

Several of the characters were great. Aurora, Belle and Snow White were very sweet and very friendly with my daughter. Mary Poppins seemed to be distracted and Cinderella was plain rude.

The Fairy Godmother was the best one of them all. She was the bomb. Nice, sweet, friendly, very personal, generous with her time and she was quite the conversationalist.

The first time we went to wdw was two weeks after 9-11. The park was nearly empty. I had called at the 90 day ( and every day after ) to no avail. The second time we went to wdw was last year at the end of sept. I got my ps the third day I called.

It was just my DD and me. they gave us "the best table in the castle"--the one inthe little alcove that faces the carosel.

It was truely magical. The food was great. The Princesses were fabulous. Afterwards we went in Tinkerbells treasures and woke up Tink .

It was well worth the huge phone bills and all the anticipation.

We could not acquire a PS before we went last year.
My DH suggested I call dining and see if we could get Cindy's for the next AM - anytime available. I called about 5 pm the day before.

I guess somebody wanted their deposit back - we got a PS for 9 am the next morning at Cindy's.

Just be persisitent & flexible - you never know what pixie dust will be sprinkled on you :wizard:
