Although they are similar, they feel totally different. CP has good food, and a great selection, but somehow the layout of Cape May makes it feel like a larger selection. I don't think it is, but it's set up differently. I feel like Cape May has a more "upscale" buffet feel, more like Boma. They have a different kind of seasoned potato and things like grilled asparagus (yes at breakfast), and a yogurt bar. CP has potatos, and yogurt, but it's just different. CP is much more "kid" oriented to me, more kid-friendly foods, louder restaurant. Cape May is more laid-back and quiet...and the Yacht Club is just fantastic to wander around too.
I think the choice between the two would be based on what experience you were looking for. If you want a breakfast in the parks, then you want CP. If you want a more out of the way, not rushing in the parks place, go with Cape May.
