Hi there!

I'm visiting AKL from december 30th till January 5th.
I was wondering if someone knows if I need to make reservations for breakfast at the Boma, since I plan to have breakfast there every day? I would hate to tie me down to a specific time every day.

Thanks for your advice.

Peter

Unless you want to wait, I would make ADRs. There are no seats set aside for guests staying at that resort, so it's just hit or miss as to whether you will get a seat quickly or not without an ADR. Even though it's not near anything else, Boma is a pretty popular reservation for breakfast. There's always been quite a few people waiting for tables in the seating area when we've been there for breakfast.

PS -also your trip starts on some of the absolute busiest days of the year - at least from 12/30 through around 1/2 or 1/3, so that confirms my opinion above even more.

You should have a reservation if you intend to dine at Boma. Mara is a CS restaurant at AKL, you won't need a reservation to eat there. Room service is another option.
