Breakfast at Boma - How are you getting there?

I hope this is the right place to post, if not, mods forgive me! For those of you who are dining at Boma for breakfast, but at not staying at AKL, how are you getting there in the morning? Thanks!

I'm actually interested in this too, but for evening instead of morning! We have an ADR for a late dinner at Boma (8:00 PM) on December 6th and are staying at ASMu, and I'm kind of worried we won't be able to use Disney transportation to get there...

When we stayed at POP last year, we told the CM when we entered the bus that we were going to Boma for breakfast and asked her the best way to get to there. Since we were one of only 4 families on the bus and 2 of us were going to Boma, she dropped off the other 2 families at AK and then called and asked if she could bring us all the way to AKL and she was able to.

otherwise, i would go to AK and transfer to AKL bus or if in a hurry take a cab from your hotel.

The best way is probably a cab. ASMU is pretty close so it shouldn't cost that much. There probably won't be any AK buses running at that time.

Thank you for the responses and more ideas are welcomed! We're staying at CBR and I was thinking maybe taking the AK bus and then hopping on the AKL bus might be the way to go. We would just have to allow enough waiting time for the buses.

We have done this twice. Last year from POP & this year from Sports. It worked out fine for us. We were lucky and hardly waited at all for the bus from AK to AKL. Then after breakfast we took the bus from AKL to the park we were going too.

We always seem to just take the first bus that comes to any theme park and then the AKL bus from there.

We took a cab, which was $20 from POFQ, but we could easily have taken the AK bus to an 8:30 ADR with 9:00 AK opening, they were already running.

If you have a car, that is usually the easiest way. Usually if we have an ADR at another resort we will try and drive there.

We always take a bus to the Animal Kingdom and then catch the bus back to the Lodge. What threw us off this year was that the DVC area was open and the bus stopped there first before going back to Jambo House ... so we lost about ten minutes due to that (there were a lot of people getting on the bus at the DVC stop). Give yourself at least an hour if you're using Disney transportation to get to the AKL - you'll need it.

Last time we had the first adr's for boma so we got to the curb in front of pop in the dark 1 hour early and a bus pulled up and this wonderful driver asked us where we were going and he gave us and exclusive ride!!!

While staying at the Poly we grabbed a cab to get over to Boma.

I will be staying at SSR in two weeks and have an ADR for breakfast on Tuesday, Nov. 17. I will walk to DTD Marketplace and take a bus to AKL.
If you are taking Disney transportation, leave plenty of time!

We took a cab once, but we usually just take the bus to the MK, then grab the AKL bus from there.

This has also worked for us. Just jump on the the first park or DTD bus that shows up to your resort and then transfer to AKL bus. didnt take us very long at all.

As has been said, just hop a bus to the AK in the morning and then hop on the AKL bus from there. It's literally a three-minute ride from the AK to the AKL.

For anyone doing anything at night, and afraid they'll miss a bus back to their hotel -

Whereever you are, just get on a bus to DTD and then hop on your hotel bus to get home from there. The DTD buses run 'til 1am or so, you'll always be able to get back!

As posted before, we just jump on the first park bus and transfer to the AKL bus. We'll be doing this next year when we're staying at SSR and Boma for breakfast.
