Breakfast at AK Rainforest

I saw on the 'allears.net' website a menu for breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom.



Has anyone gone here for breakfast? What time do they open? Do you need a PS?

We eat at the AK Rainforest for breakfast every trip.. I believe they open at 8:00am cuz we usually get reservations at 8:30. Of course that time of the day it's not real busy but when we leave around 9:30 or so there tends to be a wait. I would advise you to make reservations(just in case) You MUST try the pie of the viper--we get this every time--It's a mexican breakfast pizza--big enough for 4. I'm getting hungry thinking about this masterpiece!!PIE OF THE VIPER RULES!!!!

The RFC is excellent for breakfast......it will fill you up for almost the entire day.

The gift shop opens at 8 and they begin seating at 8:30 AM.

We went twice this past visit and never waited for a table (we were there around 8:30 both times).

We had almost everything on the menu at one time or another and they were all great.

Highly recommended!

We ate there on our last trip. It's kind of a funny story actually.

They serve breakfast 8:30am to 10:00am. We wandered in there at about 9:50am, hoping to just make breakfast and the host told us that if we sat at the bar we would get the same menu but wouldn't have to wait for a table (20 min). We agreed and sat at the bar. Service at the bar was mediocre, but what do you expect when there is one person working the bar and it's pretty full? The food was quite good and the coffee is OK (Disney resort coffee is terrible, this was drinkable), and the portions are HUGE!

We were sitting there eating for over 30 min and they were still serving breakfast, which we thought was odd because it was well after 10am. Long story short (too late) we find out around NOON that we missed daylight savings!!

Hehehe... I guess you had to be there, but it was funny. I see it as a free hour in Disney! I recommend everyone go then!
