Hi everyone! We are going to the World in November  ! We already made all of our ADR's, but I have one question. We are staying at WL and have 8:20 am reservations for Breakfast at Cape May. We will be using disney transportation. I know we have to go to MK and then transfer to the Beach Club bus. What time do the buses start in the morning? Will we have enough time to get there if we catch the first bus, and will there be buses at MK that early to take us to the Beach Club?

I'm becoming alittle obsessed with all of our plans, so any answers will be greatly appreciated!:goodvibes Thanks.

To my knowledge there are no buses that will take you from resort to resort. If you take a bus to Epcot you cannot get through the International Gateway because it doesnt open until 11. You can take a bus to MGM and walk to BC but it may take a bit of time. I suggest taking a cab or your own car.

I had read somewhere that it maybe impossible to get to an early morning ADR at a resort if you are coming from a resort because transportation willnot take you from a resort directly to another resort.
There is a link here somewhere, possibly under transportation forum that you can put in where you are leaving from and where you are going to. It will give you all the different ways to get from point A to point B.

Absolutely doable!! You are correct in your planning....boat to MK, then switch to the BC bus. Or you can take the WL bus to MGM and then walk to BC...about 20 min. walk. If your ADR is at 8:20, you would need to leave WL at about 7:15ish. Always leave at least an hour to get from resort to resort. In fact, I might even head out about 7, just to be safe.
Or, if you don't want to go that early, you can always take a cab.

When we went to the World back in Sept of '05, we had a morning ADR for Boatwright's at POR and we were staying at WL. We called the dinning hot line from our phone the night before and they said to take the boat to MK and then hop on to a bus going to POR. Well, all was fine and dandy until we got to MK and every bus out there was going to MK and not picking up from MK, probably due to the fact that MK was about to open. Eventhough we were waiting in the que to take us to the POR resort, no bus would stop. Finally across the way we saw a minivan that looked as if the guy in the driver's seat was the dispatcher for all the busses, so I ran over to him and told him that we needed to get to POR so he said that he would see what he could do. Well, 5 min later a bus came by and took us to our destination....we were the only ones on the bus, and luckly we gave ourselves enough time so we didn't miss our ADR. Moral to the story, be aware that it may be easier said than done to use the busses from MK to get to a different resort, but in reality it was more of a pain.

i wanted to try Cape May on my previous trip and had an 8:05 ADR. I ended up cancelling it because i didnt think that i would be able to get there in time.

To the OP, any chance of getting a later ADR ?

I agree with the other poster go over to MK and catch the bus to BC or take a bus to MGM and either walk over BC or take the boat. I would definitely leave at least an hour or 1hr 15min. before your ADR.

And someone mentioned the International Gateway isn't opened until 11am that's not true. The IG opens early just like the main gate for ADRS to the princess storybook for people coming from the epcot resorts. It then opens for regular ticket holders when the main gate opens. They just close off the bridge that goes over to France from there.

Goofy4Tink is right, very doable using one of her suggestions. Not a biggee!

We usually stay at the BC/YC and one year my DH insisted on breakfast @ Boatwright's (he loves it there) @ POR... so we picked the day that MGM had EMH in the morning and we walked there to hop the bus to POR.... they were only dropping off and not picking up..... I asked a CM w/ a walkie-talkie what we should do and she was awesome :thumbsup2 She got one of the "off" busses to take us directly to the door of POR so we wouldn't miss our ADR.....

I can't say that would happen again, so if we did a morning breakfast again, I'd most likely take a cab to be safe :rotfl:
