Character meal at Liberty Tree Tavern Jan-Feb 2010 (Breakfast Menu added to 1st post)

Okay, I just called(but didn't finish this post till after 11, lol) and talked to a dining CM and she looked up the info and confirmed that the characters are Chip 'n Dale, Minnie Mouse and Pluto!! Yay, I'm so happy! Love Minnie and Pluto, and Chip 'n Dale is awesome cause they are hard to find at any character meals anymore if even anywhere, and seem to be hard to find in general!

I think Chip and Dale are still at the campground every night. Also, aren't they at Epcot for the Garden Grill character dinner?

so, i made all my ADRs online except LTT and got an email confirmatins for the online ADRs...but I didn't get any emails about the LTT reservations...do you just not get email confirmations for phone ADRs?

So... is 8:15 the earliest anyone has gotten?

I was wondering if I should try for 8:05 or even earlier if possible..

A few of us have 8:05, which is the earliest time available. Even with Crystal Palace, I've never heard of an 8:00 (the good news is when you ask for an 8:00, you get the 8:05)

I just decided to dump Chef Mickey's and book LTT for breakfast.

And then I remembered what today is ......

I got 8:35 . I asked for 8:05 and was told 8:35 was the earliest available, this was on my 90 day mark and my last day of our trip....

Anyone know what lunch menu will be???

All meals during the character time will be served family style. The lunch will be family style that is currently served for dinnertime at LTT. Check out the dinner menu at allears so see what they are serving currently and that is what will be served for lunch and dinner from Jan 3 to Feb 14. Sounds yummy!

Can anyone confirm that a 10:35am ADR for LTT would be for breakfast? I had tried for a 10:30 and was told there was only a 10:05 available when I booked reservations by phone. I just want to make sure that it wasn't offered because it was a lunch ADR.

Thought I'd pass this very interesting comment along. We just returned from Disney this past Sunday. While there, we at at LTT. On our way out of LTT, I spoke to the manager about missing the characters there. He commented that they missed them as well, but that they would be returning starting sometime in January when CP closed for refurb. They would be at LTT for as long as CP was closed, and then return to CP when it re-opened.

Not sure what time breakfast ends...but lunch reservations don't usually start until 11:30"ish"...so my guess is that you are safe. You can always call to confirm.

I asked for a late breakfast bc of a morning EMH at MK so we could knock out some rides. I got a 10:15 ressie. I want to say the last breakfast seatings are usually around 10:30am.

Was anybody able to get a ressie earlier than 8:15am? When I booked on the phone on Tuesday, the CM said the earliest she could see was 830. I checked online yesterday and found an 8:15. BETTER!! Just wondering if there was anything earlier?

I think I read somewhere that the Crystal Palace will be closed in early February and that Liberty Tree Tavern will be having the character meals until the CP reopens. Can anyone confirm that? I'm finding it impossible to get a reservation at CP the week of Feb. 7th so I figure they must be closed?

From the DIS Home Page: Liberty Tree Tavern hosts character meals again
Starting 1/3/2010 Liberty Tree Tavern will be a character dining location for breakfast, lunch, dinner. All meals will be served in an all you care to enjoy family style setting.

On 2/15/2010 Liberty Tree Tavern will resume normal operations as a non-character location serving lunch land dinner. This is being done while Crystal Palace is closed for a rehab.

I know LTT will be doing breakfast when CP closes for a short while. Does anyone know what the characters will be? Will they be Poh, Eeyore, Pigltet etc or the normal characters at LTT? Also, does the dinner at LTT have characters? We are going in the beginning of January.

It's the regular LTT characters. I saw a description posted in another thread on here. We have breakfast ADRS for Jan 26.

I don't know for sure about dinner, but I think they are there.

Pretty sure it's the "normal" LTT characters, except maybe Goofy. Granted, I'm not too sure what those normal ones are, so if these aren't them, disregard the statement above: Minnie, Pluto, Chip, and Dale

All meals will have the characters and be served "family style"

LTT will have characters for both brkfst & dinner - they will be the old LTT characters: Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip n Dale.

I read on another board tonight that the Pooh characters were going to be at Liberty Tree instead of Crystal Palace for a while and at Crystal Palace in their place would be Minnie, Chip, Dale, etc. Is this true?

I am aware that the characters will be shifted while CP undergoes their renovations, but I didn't think that would effect the December schedule. We're going the 16-23. Does anyone know if it will be normal characters or not?

We have two meals already scheduled with Mickey, Minnie, etc. and were going to CP just for Pooh. I want to cancel and try to get LTT if the characters will be different. Just wondering. Thanks in advance!
