Hi Yall!! I'm back again with my dining review for the fall! I'm no writer so I will let the pictures do the talking:goodvibes

I will be reviewing the following:

Raglan Road (dinner)
Yak and Yeti (lunch)
Ohana (dinner)
Hollywood Brown Derby (lunch/fantasmic package)
Kona (breakfast)
Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)

And.........were off..........:wizard:

Raglan Road (dinner):

The restaurant is just amazing. All the dark woods with the stain glass ceiling really make this restaurant.

We started with the Irish Soda Bread. It was served with a oil/beer brown sugar reduction. It was very heavy like pound cake. My husband loved it. Me not so much.

We then ordered 2 apps. The first one was a grilled chicken dish. I was really dry to us. We didn't eat much of it.

We also got the Daulky Duo. Pretty good. Fried sausages with mustard sauce how can you go wrong.
DSC_1097.jpg

I ordered the Serious Steak. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes. The steak was tender and juicy. The potatoes were good but very thick.
DSC_1100.jpg

My husband ordered the Mixed Grill. He liked everything but the black pudding. It was a strange looking meat?? It had a strong taste of cloves. Everything else was great including the mashed potates (also thick)

Saving the best for last.........The Bread Pudding. Now I have never had bread pudding but let me tell ya this is yumO!! The homemade butterscotch was to die for!!! A must try!

All in all this dinner was great. A must try!:dance3:

Later I will move on to Yak and Yeti (lunch):3dglasses

On to the next. We headed over to AK for the day. We started the day with our usual Tusker House Breakfast with Donald. Of course it was great. A great buffet with lots to choose from. The character are awesome! I enjoy this breakfast because it gets us in the park super early:cutie:

For lunch I made a last minute ressie to Yak and Yeti. I was super impressed. We started off with Pork Egg Rolls, Lettuce Cups, and Pot Stickers. YUM! I ate so much of the apps there was little room for my main dish. I LOVED the lettuce cups the most. So refreshing after a hot day in the park. Take a look.

My husband ordered the Lo Mein with Chicken and Shrimp. His plate was piled high! I couldn't believe how much food was served for lunch.
DSC_1235.jpg

I got the Honey Chicken. I think I ate only 2 to 3 pieces of chicken. Again I filled up on the lettuce cups. They honey chicken was ok but it was like any other take out chinese place.

I will for sure without a doubt visit Yak and Yeti again. BUT!!!! Will stick to the apps since I loved them so much:woohoo:

Up next........OHANA for Dinner

I have seen about 4-5 reviews of Yak and Yeti in the last few days and all of the pictures have looked so good! I am having such a hard time not adding in to the list of places to try, but I promised DH we would have a non-planned trip this time:sad2:

Was it pretty busy? Wondering if I can try a walk up on the day we are in animal kingdom.

Ohana Ohana Ohana How I love thee!

I have been wanting to eat at Ohana for 2 years now. Last year we had to skip it because my mom is a super picky eater. Finally I got my wish and boy was it worth waiting on.
First we started off with the salad. Super great dressing. Here's where I made my mistake. I ate 2 helpings of salad!!
DSC_1271.jpg

Then came the dips for the meat. For the life of me I can't remember what they are. One was some sort of peanut sauce. The rest.....????
DSC_1272.jpg

Next the bowl of veggies came followed by the oh so great noodles. Again a mistake by me. I couldn't stop myself with the noodles!
DSC_1273.jpg

Sticky Wings and Pot Stickers were next on the menu. I ate one wing and it was ok. The pot stickers were just like the ones at Yak and Yeti. By this point I was waiting on the main course.

Our waiter brought out steak and chicken first. The steak was super tender and awesome! The chicken was ok slightly dry.
DSC_1276.jpg
Sorry it's a little blurry.
Then came the shrimp. The waiter put about a dozen shrimp on my plate. I never asked for that much but I guess he thought I needed it. They were too good!
DSC_1278.jpg
We were never offered the pork. We waited and even saw other tables being served the pork but it never made it to us. Oh well.....the shrimp was enough for me. Mmmmm

Since we ate soooo much I asked the waiter to only bring a small portion of the bread pudding and only one serving. I was so stuffed by this point!!
He brought out our one serving but it was far from small!!!
DSC_1280.jpg
This bread pudding with banana's foster topping was the bomb!!! Super GREAT!:woohoo: My husband it not a dessert eater but he LOVED this one. Out of 3 of us we could not finish it.

We will be visiting Ohana again!!! :dance3:

There was no waiting in the front but the tables were all full. We were there before our ressie and they seated us early. I loved it! It is worth the try for a walk up.:yay:

Love the pics, they're so clear! :woohoo: Will you also be doing a trip report on CSR? It's our favorite and would love to hear your experiences there. popcorn::

The next day we had a quick service breakfast at the Pepper Market (CSR). Nothing special to report same breakfast as another other.

We had a Fantasmic Package booked at The Hollywood Brown Derby. I was super excited about eating here. I had heard really good things. My husband started with the Cobb Salad and just did not like it at all. I gave it a try and thought is was kinda full of water. Almost like they didn't let the lettuce dry enough?? Other than that it was ok. I dont' think I would order it again. PS it is enough for two.

DSC_1358.jpg

I ordered the Crabcake. It was really good. Since my husband didn't like his salad I traded him. He wasn't impressed with it either. (He was in a bad mood) The crabcake had a potato crust and was so crunchy on the outside. The portion was just right.

DSC_1357.jpg

For my entree I ordered the Roasted Chicken Half. It was super tender and moist. The rice was great also.

DSC_1359.jpg

My husband ordered the Pork Chops (no pic). He said they were dry and tough...again he was not in a good mood. So much we skipped dessert.

We ate late due to the show package so we had a quick service meal later. We ended up at the ABC Commissary. I was really worried about eating here because of all the bad reviews I read. To my suprise it wasn't too bad. We all had burgers and fries.

On to MK!!!!

We had a 7:45am ressie for Kona for breakfast. I couldn't wait to eat here again. We ate at Kona last year for dinner and it was one of our favs.

I ordered the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes. Oh my goodness I was in breakfast heaven! These are by far the best pancakes I have ever had. The waiter said they use heavy cream in them and that is what makes them so good.

DSC_1362.jpg

Hubby ordered the Big Kahuna. It was a sampling of eggs, potatoes, french toast, pancakes, ham, bacon and sausage.

DSC_1363.jpg

My son but the pancakes shaped like MICKEY with a side of fruit.

I will forever be eating at Kona while at Disney. It never disappoints!

Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes are heaven on a plate! Just looking at the pic is making my mouth water. Kona is a must for every trip for my family too!!

At MK we ended up at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe for lunch. Just wanted something quick. Boy was this place packed. It was hard to find a table.
My hubby got a BBQ Sandwich and I had a Steak and Cheese Sandwich. They were really good. What I love here is the topping bar. I was able to add mushrooms and onions to my sandwich.:woohoo: My son got the nuggets with grapes. It felt nice just to sit down and take our time in the air condition.

For dinner we went to a Pirate Dinner Show pirate: (Non Disney). It was really good. The food on the other had was horrible!!!:sad2: Nasty frozen like stuff!! I did enjoy the show to bad they don't offer better food.

The next day we were at MK. The last park of our trip.:sad1:

We had a qs breakfast at the Pepper Market again.

For lunch we stopped by Liberty Tree Tavern to see if they had an available tables. We waited 10 minutes if that. We started with fried cheese! :woohoo: How can you go wrong with fried cheese!!!!

DSC_1446.jpg

My son got a pizza with chicken noodle soup for a app. No pic of the pizza.

DSC_1447.jpg

I got the Colony Salad. It was really good! It didn't have enough dressing for me and they left off the nuts. I asked the waiter for nuts and dressing and he was happy to bring them. I ate it all!!!

DSC_1448.jpg

My husband got the The Tri-Corner Sandwich and left off the slaw. He enjoyed it also. There was a ton of meat on the sandwich.

DSC_1449.jpg

We skipped the dessert here. We were just too full after all the yummy fried cheese.

For dinner we had ressies at the Hoop Dee Do Review. As usual the food was great and so was the entertainment! A must try for everyone. Sorry no pics.

The next morning....our last meal before we left was Ohana with Lilo and Stitch.

I love this breakfast. It is all you can eat but not buffet style. It is family style. They bring you pineapple bead, fruit, and juice first. Then they bring a big skillet out with eggs, sausage, potatoes, bacon, and bisquits. A waiter bring Mickey waffles around every so often. I don't have any pictures of the breakfast. This too is a great way to end a trip. Family Style!!:grouphug:

Thanks for reading my report. I enjoyed doing it. Have magical day.:wizard:

Thanks for wonderful updates and I'm drolling over the pictures.
