Branson, Mo on points

Sorry if this is the wrong board to post but thought I'd start here. Has anyone used their points for a trip to Branson? There are a few resorts available and would like to here about them and any recommendations. My DD and DGD live in Springfield and have been unhappy with the hotels there so thought maybe staying in Branson on points would be better. Thanks.

Big Cedar Lodge on Table Rock Lake outside of Branson is really nice. You can use your points there

I don't think Big Cedar is on the list to use point at any more. You could try to do an exchange with interval international... I think that is the only way now.

Marriott Horizons Branson trades through II (Interval International).

I've seen pictures of Big Cedar - it looks great, but I don't think you can get it with DVC points.

I've stayed at the Marriott place in Branson while visiting family in Springfield. It's a nice enough property, but the drive back and forth gets long.

There is a new Residence Inn in the Southern part of town that we were very impressed with...we'll stay there when we go this Summer!
