brand new newbie and just found this forum for DVC

Already addicted to it!! We just signed the papers and bought 200pts at BLT on 6/9. Waiting on closing now!! We are so excited to be DVC members.

Will probably have a ton of questions as this is new to us. have been through numerous other timeshare presentations ( some we were dragged to by ILs-they own into II) But never thought seriously about them. DH was sold immediately. Obviously this is the one for us as we tend to come approx every other year or so although more now!!

Already have one question. Would like to plan a long weekend in Oct for DS' Bday. Can i call to make ressie before closing date??

Thanks so much for any info!! Already learning alot. Already getting addonitis and haven't closed yet? Am i crazy?

Welcome to the DIS!

If you purchased thru DVC directly, you should already be in the system and able to make a reservation. I'd contact my guide and let them know what dates, villa and resort you want and have them assist.

If you purchased resale, you will need to wait until you have closed and are in the DVC system (usually within a week of closing).
