Last time we went, there was a person doing those tiny little braids.

DD DESPERATELY wants some braids.

Do they still do that? Any idea how much for a few, not the whole head?

I would like to know this too....we will be at the POLY in June. I think that I saw a "station" for hair braiding, by the pool. But I never saw it open. Does anyone know if this is still there and how I can find out when it is open????

I think they still do it at the Boardwalk. If I'm thinking correct it was about $2-$3 per inch, so if your hair in real long, it could get expensive.

In the state of Florida only those with special certifications through the state board of cosmotology may do braids. At WDW, they offer braiding only in the salons. I believe the Ivy Trellis at The Grand Floridian and the Periwig at the Yacht and Beach Club do it, and it is $45 for half a head and $100 for a whole head. If you see many kids with braids, most are done on the Disney Cruise Line, which is not under the same jurisdiction. Hair Wraps are offered at the resort pools, by Pooh Corner at DTD and at the water parks.

Hope that helps!
