... is it that we see photos w/them and Maddox and Zahara yet we never see them w/Shiloh!?!? Last week's People Magazine had photos of them in India and they were shown w/Mad and Zahara but no Shiloh in sight. This week's People magazine shows the couple again w/Mad and Zahara and no Shiloh to be found.

What's the deal?!!? They parade the other two around, but not Shiloh? Can they only deal w/two at a time?! Is the "natural born" more or less deserving of media attention!? I just don't get it!!!!! Anyone have any ideas why they parade the two around and not the third?!

First of all there were pictures of Angelina with Shiloh just last week. Secondly the baby is a BABY. They sleep a lot, they can be fussy and cranky. If you have the luxury of leaving the baby at home safe with a nanny instead of in a crowd of paps why wouldn't you? And in their situation, it's important that the older kids get some "alone" time with the parents. It's no big conspiracy. It's so ridiculous the way every tiny thing these people do is put under a microscope.

I have no idea the real reasons (since I don't know them or any of their 'people') but I always figured it was because she's just a tiny baby right now and it would be too hard to bring her out in public. Plus she's not going to care if she misses out on the zoo, or the park, or shopping or whatever. If they are still leaving her at home in a couple of years then I might wonder about it but not now.

In People magazine?!?!!? I'm talking People Magazine here, not every other mag. on the newsstands. OK, I pulled last week's People (Brittney's divorce issue) and there are two pages (#14 & 15) of Brad & Ang. and you see her w/only two kids. In this week's People (Sexiest Man issue), there's one photo of the two in India and she's holding Zahara and he has Max on his shoulders (pg. 13). There's no photo of Shiloh, so I don't know what photos you're talking about. I don't know about other magazines ... I stated in my OP that I'm only going by People Mag. I don't get Star or In Touch, etc. Sorry.

I honestly can't remember the last time I saw the Pitt/Jolie baby except from the photos they sold.

Let me say that I just found it odd that you see them w/the other two but barely w/Shiloh. As for putting them under the microscope, I hardly think I'm doing that. I'm just commenting on how odd it is that we see the two but not the other. You'd think that they'd have the nanny in tow. I've seen other celebs lugging all their kids around even at infancy stages. But, from the day Angelina adopted Mad and Zahara, they were always out and about. Granted, I know they weren't newborns, but Shiloh isn't brand-spanking-new. As for your statement about leaving the baby at home safe from a crowd of Papparazzi, I'd leave all the kids at home safe from them! Why leave one when you can leave them all if you have the convenience?!?!!?

While I realize the importance of "alone" time w/the kids, she's always w/the two. How is that alone time for either Mad or Zahara if they're w/their sibling??

It's just a curious question. I'm not scrutinizing them, for crying out loud!

I saw Shiloh pictues just a couple of weeks ago. I think it was In Touch magazine. I don't think they don't think she's worthy of press time. They have 3 kids so maybe they have a nanny with them and the nanny has shiloh in a stroller. That doesn't make for a very good picture. Maybe they went out for just a little bit during her nap time. I can't tell you how many times my little one got left at home (with either DH or me) simply because he was little. And it would have been a heck of a lot more often if we had a nanny. Now that he's two we tend to take him out with us more on errands.

I don't answer except to say that a lot of people seem to have a lot of time on their hands to worry about "baby spotting" the kids of celebrities. :confused3

:confused3 Why does it really matter so much? They aren't you, so they most likely don't have the same parenting style as what you would do, or other celebrities for that matter. Just because someone's a celebrity doesn't mean there is a rulebook they must follow for how they should present their family to the public. What's the point in worrying so much about this anyway? My advice? Just let it go...

Didn't they sell Shiloh's first photos?

Yes, and they donated ALL the money they received. I think it went to a children's orphanage, or maternity center or something that ties in with children

Because maybe their taking the older two to the zoo or something (which the baby wouldn't appreciate anyway) :confused3

I think that Prince Charles handled the press superbly in respect to privacy and his boys. He gave the press specific photo opportunities on a regular basis in exchange for leaving them alone otherwise. He never sold those opportunities, just made an exchange, and it seemed to have worked well for the Windsors.

I'm not a big fan of everything he's done over the years, but that move was brilliant.

There are pictures being taken. Here's one Maybe the real question is, why aren't the magazines printing them? Another thing to consider is that the pictures you are seeing are just a portion of whats going on. It's entirely possible that Shiloh is in the background in the arms of a nanny. But a pic of "unnamed nanny" isn't as interesting as Angelina.

As for alone time - meaning 1 parent to one child as opposed to a three way split with a sibling who needs 75% of the attention. Maybe they are simply taking the kids to places that are more appropriate for a 2 and 6 year old then an infant. Maddox and Zahara were each approx a year old when they were adopted, so that's a bit different then Shiloh who is less then 6 months.

I wouldn't take a baby out either. Older kids are different.

I don't know..but have you seen how the papparazi hounds them when they are out in India? I just read that one of Angelina's bodyguards had a couple problems recently...something about how he supposedly hit someone who was getting too close...can't remember. Anyway, I think they are just being very protective of their infant daughter. In all the photos I've seen of either parent with any of the kids, they always seem to be holding on pretty tightly. I don't know. It's the same with little ol' Suri Cruise...ya never see Papa Tom and Momma Katie with her, but ya sure see them out and about with Tom's older 2 children. So, go figure...
