How will spacers feel? They don't hurt, they just feel like you have a big piece of food stuck between your teeth.
What can't eat? Popcorn, Caramel, whole apples, gum (they say not to chew gum, i chewed freedent and it worked out fine )
what should I eat when my mouth hurts?Anything that doesn't require much chewing (yogurt, apple sauce, pudding, instant meals)
What should I do to minimize pain? popsicles worked for me
What COLOR should I get? I always liked blue

How will spacers feel? They were a pain at first.. I had them in for just a week and felt pain the whole time
What can't eat? I didn't really eat the first week. I lived on top ramen, mashed potatos and stuffing
what should I eat when my mouth hurts? Smoothies, yogurt, ice cream, or any of the previously mentioned
What should I do to minimize pain? advil. Chewing gum also helped me strangley
What COLOR should I get? I get mine for differnet holidays. Like Red for christmas, pink for valentines, blue for new years, and i got my school colors for homecoming

I have had mine since September of '07. I'm supposed to have them 12-14 months!!!! My frinds have had them for 2 almost 3 years!

How will spacers feel? They felt like meat stuck between your teeth!
What can't eat? Popcorn,chewy candy( like carmel)
what should I eat when my mouth hurts? Soup,pudding,icecream,jello,mashed potatoes
What should I do to minimize pain? Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, (whatever is recommended)
What COLOR should I get? It will vary with your Orthodontist. Like my orthodontist I have quite of few colors to choose from. But usually I have 2 different colors. Right now I have neon pink and light pink! But I am going to the Ortho. on Wed. so I am going to change them again.

Getting spaces today!!!! EKKK tims another bazllion. LOLI'm going to aks if I can listen gtto my ipod while they put the spacers ( I just can't sing along!! LOL) I even downloaded Teardrops on my Guitar!(Good song!) Wish me luck

How will spacers feel? They suck and hurt
especially iof you get the metal ones on your bottom teeth.
when i got mine on i fely like i was going to bang ny head into a wall.
the top ones are reasonable in pain.

How will spacers feel? They hurt at first, they feel really weird. I had them a few years ago and I don't remember that much but I remember always palying with them and wanting just to rip them out.
What can't eat? My orthodontist gave me a paper with everything I couldn't eat. I eat everything anyways, I have broke a brace on a mint from Sonic and a pen cap that I was chewing on.
what should I eat when my mouth hurts? Yougurt or ice cream. Anything soft.
What should I do to minimize pain? Tylenol and if you have cuts in your mouth that braces rub against you can buy wax to put over your teeth and that helps a lot.
