Hi All,
Besides sneakers, what do your boys wear in the parks all day? My sons wore Crocs the last two visits and did well with them all day, but now that they are 12 and 14, I am not sure that they'd want to wear them now. Any recommendations out there?

Thank you!

My son wore Tevas when there, he was 8. Got another pair for this year and he's 10. He never complained once with the Tevas.

Stupid question alert: where do you fine folks pick up these shoe brands? Let me guess: Target is not the answer. I'm going on a shoe hunt soon and would love to know specifically where to go!

My son wears the Nike Kids Sunray Adjust shoes the whole time. He loves them and they keep his feet cool and don't hurt his feet at all after walking for long periods of time.

Tevas flip flops for my two (both boys, both getting ready to age up to 12 and 14 in the next month) for the past three years of park visits. They're a favorite for all of us. We have a local store we get them from most of the time, but I ordered my most recent pair directly from their website. Try zappos too, I have found great deals sometimes on there (and free shipping!).

My kids are 14, 16, and 18 and each will still have Crocs as one of their two (mandatory they bring two :-) ) pairs of shoes.
There are many different styles. My girls have some that are like mary janes and my son (and I) have canvas loafers. They are all still super comfortable.
As a second pair, we usually all bring sneakers - but I am trying a nice pair of Keens this year. Excellent results so far during our long Disney training walking regimen :-)

I usually have my family try on the shoes at either Dick's Sporting Goods or Cabelas, but then order on Amazon if the price is better there.

I should also point out that - in addition to the two different types of shoes on alternate days approach - it is extremely important that whatever they use be very well broken in.

We bring their crocs (not the original style, a more normal looking one), keens, and sneakers. They choose what they want to wear each day. Nearly all of their shoes are bought on Amazon.

Sanuk's are our choice, my son is 14 and won't wear his Keens or Tevas anymore. He likes the yoga mat bottom, I like the rubber sole and the price.
