Boy is Dinner at Boma Good

Just back from AKL. We at at BOMA for breakfast and Dinner. Couldn't decide which was better both were wonderful!!!!

Also did the "culinary tour". It's daily at 4pm. They give you tastes of food from each restraurant. At Boma we were given Soup and Zebra domes at Jiko we were given a basket of breads/crackers and 3 dips to try.

The best strategy is to take very small portions of everything and try EVERYTHING. I must have used 8 or more plates there. I think the only thing I didn't try was the normal salad at the salad bar section.

My family is the pickyest eaters..... only Chicken fingers and normal food..... They all loved Boma. You will be fine. Try everything. I can now say I like to eat Fu Fu.

I saw that on the menu! What exactly is FuFu?

We were not impressed with the buffet several years ago, but decided to give it another try this year. Hopefully we will like it this time.

It's a mix of mashed yams and white potatoes with butter and cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. At least that's what the server told us. Whatever it is, it's really good.
