My wife was doing some cleaning and found a 4 day 3park ticket stub from 1989 and one from 1990.

She also found a Disney dollar from 1990 she saved as a souvenir.

The price of the 4 day 3 park ticket from 1989 was $91.00. The one from 1990 was $95.00

I just paid $121 for a 1 day, 1 park ticket. YIKES!

Nothing wrong as far as I can tell but we do have some older threads about similar topics such as below that you can Search all of the DIS for:

---Vintage WDW Ticket Media & Memorabilia Pictures
---Pictures of things No Longer Seen at WDW

I too, have some unused tickets (and stubs) from 1979.

Given a 4 day ticket now is around $500, that's between 5% and 6% increase per year over 30 years, which doesn't sound like a lot but it really compounds quickly.

If you account for inflation, those prices are worse than what is currently for sale. $91 in 1989 is equivalent to ~$186 in 2018 and $95 in 1990 is equivalent to ~$184. We're actually a bit better off today

You’ve missed that the $91 bought 4 days in the parks in 1989...I don’t think you can get 4 days in the parks for $186 today.
