Boxes Sent to the Ship Ahead of Cruise

Hi-

I've shipped a box ahead of the cruise, to Port Canaveral, but this was in 2009, so I just wanted to make sure that can still be done.
Does anyone have any recent experience with this? Also, are the shipping guidelines in the FAQ section still correct?

I'm going to say the info in the sticky is still good. At least no one's come here to report it didn't work for them. I'm fairly certain people are still sending boxes to themselves at the port.
