Boxes of Treats mailed to POP

Hi everyone!

I am a fanatic baker and I wanted to send a boxes of the mousey cookies I make to everyone going on our trip as a welcome to DW kinda thing with some other items. I have shipped my cookies before and they do very well

Now, I read that gift baskets and stuff like that can't contain food products by FL law. Most of these are for my immediate family but a couple aren't. Do you think that would be a problem?

Also, does anyone know why it isn't allowed? I am curious...
