My husband is a pretty fussy eater, and I wondered what was in the boxed lunch included in the Tulum ruins Tour. Has anyone been there, done that?

Earlier reports said it was a Subway sandwich, but several said they did not eat it because of the fresh vegetables on it.

We were on the 7/6 Western and had the boxed lunch on the Tulum excursion. It was actually quite good. It was prewrapped from SubWay - white meat turkey cold cuts on an italian bread hero. It came with prepacked mayo or mustard. They also gave you a bag of prepackaged chips and a wrapped muffin. You also got soda or beer with it. We ate everything and were were fine.

We also ate the sandwich, chips, drink, muffin, etc. and were fine. I gave about 5 seconds thought to the fresh vegys but figured a chain like Subway had filtered or bottled water to wash them with.

Glad to know a lot of people ate it and did not have a problem.
