Boutiki @ The Polynesian

Hi

I was just wondering if anybody had seen this new store? What's it like? What kind of items does it stock? Is it the same size as Wyland Galleries or have they extended it?

We saw it last week and thought it looked very nice. It is large, but I am not sure if it’s the same size as the Wyland Galleries or not. They stock a large variety of items, from Disney stuff to Tommy Bahama apparel, to Polynesian items to decorate your house. They have cute tiki statues around the store, including one that is peering in from on outside window. The store looks very nice, and it makes the lobby look even nicer.

Are Maui Mickey and Robin Crusoe still open? I always thought it was cool that the Polynesian had so many stores.

Sotoalf ~ I believe that those two stores will remain open. The only other change will be Captain Cooks closing and re-locating

We were also there last week and it looks great! I think it is larger than the gallery was as the store extends all the way to the hall where the stairs to the 2nd floor are located. I was surprised at how expensive some of the items were, but those were the Tommy Bahamas items. My dh saw a shirt he like and then saw the price of $98. The had a few disney shirts for adults and children and some princess outfits too.

Both of those stores, as well as Polynesian Princess and News from Polynesia, are closed. Boutiki is basically a consolidation of all of those stores, plus more Disney-themed items.
