Bouncebook Policy?? HELP!!!

I am currently in the World. I was trying to get the bounceback rate for a room for me and another room for my mother, who is not on this trip. They told me I could book 3 rooms and then turned around and said I could not book the bounceback for my mother as she is not on this trip. Can anyone clarify the policy??

I've never heard that... but I've never booked one either. Is there another adult that IS on your trip now and will be coming on the next one that you could book the second room under?

But you can book 2 rooms under YOUR name.....right? I've had 2 rooms booked before, but it was also my husband and I traveling with our kiddos so maybe that is why I was able to do it?

You can book as many rooms as there are adults in the room at the time the BB is offered. If you booked 2 rooms, it's because you and your husband each had a room, 1 in your name and 1 in his. If there is only 1 adult in the room, that person cannot book more than 1 room under the BB offer. Technically, only people on a trip where a BB is offered is eligible for the offer. Even if the OP had another adult in the room, a 2nd room can be booked, but would be in the name of that person and not the OP's mom since she is not there.

I was able to book two rooms last August with the bounceback offer. The other room was not in my name but the other family's name. ( i even booked the other room a day after booking mine and still had no problem doing it) I would call back and try to book again.

I have also booked others rooms, in fact did three, one in my name and one in db and one ds, so Id call back, dont go to the desk, call central reservations..they also Linked them, we all had rooms near one another, same building..

You can only book another room if you have more than you there now. They won't let you have another room under your name during the same time frame. If you are not there alone book it under that person & add your Mom to that ress# and that will be okay. That how it works. I booked two rooms for next year, one for myself & the other for my son but my husband with me so it was under his name. We just added my son in my DH's room & his wife & baby in my room. If you get someone who know what the rules are you will be told this. Note call when in room 8844 not Disney travel as they are clueless. Sometimes they will if you tell them it is a bounce back will transfer you to right department. But why waste your time there? Just call 8844 from room phone

Thanks for all the help!!! I called back tonight and was able to book the bounceback for both me and my mom in our separate rooms!! The CM told me that it was fine because she could cross reference?? Anyway, it worked out and I was able to book this for trips in May and Oct at POFQ. I am one happy camper!! Room only discounts are impossible to get at POFQ and that is our fav resort!!
