Bouncebacks?

When I was in Disney last week, I booked a bounceback offer for 4 days in October. My husband and I were thinking of the 2 of us going during the food and wine festival and running the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon. (We were so inspired by everyone with their medals!) The castmember I talked to said that tickets and the food plan was included in the 40% off price. Do you all know if this is true? It didn't say anywhere on the flyer. I guess I could work out the numbers, but thought I'd come to the experts first. Thanks!

Sorry, but no. The 40% off is only for the room part of the reservation. You still have to pay full price for the tickets and dining plan. I've never seen the DDP discounted. I booked three bouncebacks when I was there last month for 2010 (May, Oct, and Dec). I'm staying at a moderate so got 35% off the room part, but had to pay full price for the dining plan and one day park ticket (I have an AP so need only a one day park ticket in order to get the discount). I paid $80.00 for that one day ticket and $41.99/night for the DDP, but got 35% off the rack rate of the room. I knew I was going to book the bouncebacks before I got down there, so had already ran my numbers and knew what my totals on each should be. I wish they gave the discount on the dining plan and park tickets, but they don't--just the room.
