Bounceback??

People keep talking about bounceback dining, vacations etc- what does this mean?
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm OBVIOUSLY a newbie

Sometimes, Disney guests will find a "bouneback" offer in their resort room. Most times, the flyer looks like a big pocket watch and it has specific dates on it that you can "bounceback" at a discount. The pocketwatch flyer will have a telephone number to call. You must book the bounceback before you leave your resort.

If you don't see one in your room ask Mousekeeping if a current one is out there. Sometimes they forget to put the flyer in your room. That happened to me once and I only found out because I told a CM I was disappointed they didn't have one going. I got my 30% off at a value to justify my next trip

We had a bounceback offer last August but we couldn't travel during the bounceback times. I have a picture of the bounceback "clock/watch" flyer in my trip report. It's in the first few pictures of our CBR room. The link is below in my signature.

Silly question but do they ever have special offers for campsites? We are staying at POP in October. I want to plan a trip for Ft Wilderness for next summer and am hoping for any special offer.

I don't believe that the bounceback offers can be used for the campground.

Bounce back question...if I book a bounce back and for some reason I cannot attend can I transfer it to someone in my friends and family even if they are not with me at time if booking?

Anyone can get that discount, in the hotel room book about the resort is the same discount if you book before you leave. I actually read it for once last trip and was surprised to see that option. Some people do get a little extra "advertising" to help them find it.

IIRC, it's just the normal reservation number and you tell them you want the discount for booking a trip while your currently staying on property.

I believe everything else is the same where you only need to put down 1 nights stay + insurance if you get it at that time and can adjust anything in the future if you need to adjust dates a little or find a better discount, etc.
