Do you have to book for these rates while you're there, or do you have a certain amount of time to do it once you return home?

TIA!

You have to book before you checkout.:goodvibes

I was able to book the day I checked out, but I was already home. I believe it has to be by the last day of your stay. There was an 800# on the promo card in the room and I took it home and had no problems. In fact, they didn't ask to verify my stay in any way. I went ahead and booked SOMETHING, and then was able to fiddle with the dates and resorts at my leisure in the coming weeks. You will have to pay a one night deposit though.

Just FYI but since the last BB offer ended on October 24 (to book ahead for Free Dining next year), there have not been any reports here on the DIS from recent resort guests of any new BB offers out now/coming out.

Hope they will start a new one soon though! :cutie:

Hi,
I just got back on Sun Nov02. I had called the disney ressie line while I was there, last Wed I think, and was told there were no new BB offers yet, but to try again before I left. So I called on Nov01 and sure enough some new BB dates had been released for 2009:thumbsup2 However, I did not receive the pamphlet in my room , perhaps because I was staying at CSR and they did not have a BB rate for CSR. The times were extremely limited. You could use it in March, or May31-June7. I was very surprised because these are busier times of the year, so I really thought I'd get something for late April or May, which was what I requested, but didn't get. I'm not sure if dates were available in Jan or Feb as I didn't ask as I knew I wouldn't be travelling then. I booked the 1st week in June for around $150 a night at POR, but will probably cancel. I really want to be there during the Flower and Garden Festival.

If you cancel do you end up having to pay the cancellation fee of $100 or whatever it is? I'm thinking while we're there if it's offered I'd like to book something "just in case"....but I'm not sure we're going to do WDW next year, the girls want to try a cruise instead. But in case we don't find a cruise that fits what we want to do, then we'd return to WDW....or maybe do a land and sea thing. But I don't want to lose money just because I want the chance to decide later if we want to go!

I always make a room only ressie, it is not a package, so I can cancel up until a few days before arrival without penalty.

Ahhh, ok, I thought that the bounceback HAD to be a package....but maybe that's only for the free dining bounceback? I'm going in 9 days for the free dining...hoping they'll offer bounceback on it for next November/December too, but then I'd likely have to commit to a package, right? Or maybe the room only bounceback rates are so great it's a better deal?? I'm still not convinced that the dining plan (paying for it at least) would be a deal for us with two Disney-adult children who aren't big eaters. But the November free dining and a small room discount made it absolutely worth testing that theory, lol.

How exciting, just 9 days away :cool1: Hope you have a great trip! Hope you get a bounceback offer that suits your needs. I just cancelled mine today for the new stay4get3daysfree deal . It saves me a couple of hundred dollars, and I get to go the week I really wanted to go and the resort I wanted, so I'm happy:thumbsup2 I only had to include a one day ticket which I can save for another trip, so I'm quite pleased.
