I've read in various threads about bounceback offers. Can someone explain this to me? (I hope this is the area to post this) Thanks for the help.:goodvibes

A bounceback offer is a current promotion in which you have the option to book your next vacation with some kind of offer (i.e., free dining.) You must reserve your next trip before you check-out, and I believe you can do this with a $200 deposit.
You will either find a little card on your room table, or there is a # you can dial from your room phone, can anyone help me out?
We were given a bounceback offer for free dining in August, and we DIDN'T TAKE IT, and now were are actually returning at that time! :headache:

They're not called "bounceback" offers anymore, but I don't remember what the new name is. :confused3 Sorry about that.

However ... a now-no-longer-called bounceback offer is an offer for a future trip to WDW that you get while you're in your room at a WDW resort during your trip. The details of the offer are outlined on the offer itself and you have to book the new offer before you check out.

All kinds of different discounts/deals have been offered with bouncebacks. The one that was offered while I was at WL 2 weeks ago was for 35% off future stays at Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts on particular dates (1/1—1/5/12, 1/8—1/12/12, 1/16—2/8/12, 2/12—2/18/12, 3/4—3/10/12, 3/18—3/31/12, 4/29—5/26/12, 6/3—6/9/12, 8/5—10/6/12, 10/21—11/3/12, 11/11—11/17/12, 11/25—12/1/12 and 12/9—12/15/12). Since this was a room-only discount, the deposit required was for one night's stay.

I pulled the dates off the email that was sent to me while I was at WDW. So, not only was the offer in the room, but they sent me an email, too! And, no!, the email doesn't have the new name that's replaced "bounceback."

HTH.

ETA: I think the offer may be called "Future Stay" offer. Something like that.

Thanks! We will be there in March....I'll be looking for the offer or call to get it! :cool1:

I'm here now and the offer on the card in my room is still called "bounce back"
-it's for 35% off.

Is a bounce back offer only for the resort you are currently already staying at? We are at SSR this year,Never been before but dont think it will be a favourite as the kids love POP:rotfl: OVER AKL!!!! so i was wondering if you could book for a different hotel on the bounce back as long as its done before you leave:confused3

thanks

Yes. A long as there is availability at the resort you want under the promotion still, you can book somewhere else. We've used bounceback twice and booked a different resort than the one we were staying at both times:)

Anyone know when they change the bounceback offers over to the new year? We were there Dec 11-16 last year, and obviously the bouncebacks were for dates in 2012 (plus, right after we left, Disney got Christmas crowds, and I doubt they offer many discounts then). We booked for late October this year, go to to the halloween party and F&W fest. When we go in October, will the bouncebacks be for the remainder of 2012, or for 2013?

I'm wondering this same thing, so I'm hoping someone can answer! :confused3
Thanks.
