Bounceback offer???

Okay I've seen this listed a lot on here. What is it???

Never been offered one, but from what I understand/have read for people staying in an onsite resort during a certain time frame, they would leave a card in your room offering you another vacation at a discounted rate to be used during a certain time frame.

For example. You're staying at Pop in November and they are trying to fill rooms in April. They might offer you a 2nd (bounceback) vacation during April at a cheaper rate.

That's exactly it.

I have received BB promotion fliers in my room the last 2 Septembers we have been there.

Trip in 07, got BB offer to return in Aug-Sep of 08 with FD.
Made ressie for that offer.

BB trip in Sep 08, got BB offer to return in Aug-Sep of 09 with FD again.
Booked ressie for Sep 09.

Hoping to get the same offer again when we get there.

It happens at other times as well, but it is normally an offer to return during a slow time for WDW.
They are trying to increase bookings during slower times of the year.

A bounceback offer is a discount for folks who are at WDW. The offer is only good if you make a reservation before you leave.

The last time I went to free dining in September 2007, they offered me free dining again in September 2008, if I made the reservation before I checked out.

They slid a flyer under my hotel door.
