Bounceback FD/Public FD

Are the dates usually the same for the Free Dining? I know the bounceback dates for this August start August 17. Have the dates been the same in the past for others to book? Or have they always been different?

When they've had bouncebacks, the public dates have usually been a week or two later.

I think 2011 was the first year where the bounceback dates didn't match the general public dates. I recall watching other times and they were an exact match but 2011 there was a lot of disappointment and surprise when free dining didn't start until a week later. Am I just remembering wrong?

You are remembering wrong. The Bounceback dates and the general public dates have only been the exact same two times, all the other years they have been different - according to Mousesavers.
