Bounceback email while in WDW?

Just wondering if WDW is still sending them since I received and email saying to look for 'special offers' to be emailed to us while we are there. We arrive on Sat, Nov 27 so I guess time will tell but just wondering if others have gotten them. We received the bounceback for room discounts in Feb - but never had the flyer in the room. If we didn't have the email on our phones we wouldn't have know (well except from here)

Was there last week- didn't get a bounceback email or a flyer-- asked at the desk and was offered current free dining offer.. was hoping for a room discount.. Oh well... going to do the pin dance for a few months :)

Same experience exactly. No bounceback of any kind, just a flyer in the room with the current public offerings. I guess the bb is indeed dead.:sad1:

I don't know that's what I'm asking. In Feb 2010, we received email-nothing in room at WL. WDW has sent an emai our last 2 trips and the one that starts the end of this week. They ask if we want to continue to receive emails while at WDW and that there are 'special offers' that will be emailed. The last 2 times it was the bounceback offer that that's my question now since I did receive the email just this morning and we arrive Sat! HAS anyone gotten a Bounceback emai RECENTLY at WDW while there? That's my question! Thanks. Sorry missed that you said no email! \\

I rec'd several emails while there last week.. welcome.. hope you are enjoying your stay...Photopass discount etc.. but got no emails w/ any special rates..... was hoping for one so I kept my phone handy.. but nada :(

Thanks! I guess that photopass is the 'special offer' I will post when I get back if/what I receive!
 
We were at Disney the first 2 weeks of November and had, like others, received an email before our vacation to keep checking our email while at Disney for additional specials, but the only thing we did receive was the photo-pass discount offer, and also a few emails about Disney movies. While there I called the 8844 number and asked about current bouncebacks but the CM (who I must say was not the friendliest) stated that Disney "doesn't do bouncebacks anymore". I then asked if there was a pin attached to our name and he made me go through the whole process of a zillion questions regarding a future vacation, wanting dates, ages, types of rooms wanted, resort choice, etc., and then came back with a price that I knew to be a regular nondiscounted price. I let him know that he wasted my time and that he should have just said "no", no pin attached. We have never received a pin :confused3!. We are hoping to get back down in June (summer season) but if we can't obtain a discount we will probably put it off for a while. We have been wanting to check out Dollywood and the Smokey mountains so that may be an option.
 
You were very lucky to receive a discount by email! I have had the same experience as other people on here. I received the email that I would get special offers emailed to me during my stay and I only received one email during my stay and it was for a discount on photo pass. Maybe you will be lucky again :goodvibes
