Bounceback as Guest & Free Dining Checkin Questions?

I searched and could not find an answer to two questions about bounceback offers. Although we are currently saving for a future trip of our own (DH & Me), we might be going next year with my Mother. If we do, I'm thinking about booking bounceback for our own future trip.

1. If my Mother is the person who booked and paid for the trip etc, and I am a guest on the reservation...when we are there can I book my own bounceback for just me and my DH? I did not know if as a guest on the reservation if I would be able to book a bounceback without the lead person (Mom) included on the reservation on the bounceback? Can anyone staying at the hotel book their own bounceback?

2. If it is the Free Dining bounceback, are the bounceback dates "hard" dates. Such as if it's Oct 19-Oct 31st, Does my trip have to fall within those dates exactly...example Oct. 25-31. Or is it like regular Free Dining where as long as your checkin date is in the range it extends for your whole trip. Example check in on Oct 30-Nov.6 and have FD the whole time.

1. Yes, as long as your name is on the reservation you can book a bounce back for yourself. You do not have to include your mother or anyone else on that reservation.

2. If it is free dining then the same rules for free dining for the general public will apply. There will be a range of dates given for the offer and as long as your check in date falls within the offer date you will be able to get free dining for up to 14 days.
