Does anyone have any experience with either of these places? They are about the same price in my area, so I am wondering which one is more fun for a kids birthday party. Thanks!

My sister lives in St.Louis and for her 6th b-day they went to bounceU and loved it! My sis highly suggests it!

Oh thank you, thank you! When spending this amount of $$, I want it to be a fun time. I went today and it looks like a fun place. I just didn't have time to check Pump it Up out. Thanks again for your response :)

I have not heard of BounceU, but we have been to a few Pump it Up parties and had one for my DS last year.

The kids love them. It's hard to tear them away from playing when your time is up. We had an evening party and since we had mostly older kids (10+) they turned the lights off and turned on the disco ball and strobe lights. That was a lot of fun. I even got out and played too.

DD had her 4th birthday party at Pump It Up...it was phenomenal!

:thumbsup2

Forgot to add:

At Pump It Up, adults were not counted in our allowable guest totals...we had 27 kids and 25 parents (at no extra charge)...it was a blast!!

Well don't forget there's another option for some of us. The Jump Zone, which is the bouncy trouncy fun fun fun :tigger: place near us. They seem to have quite a few locations around the US.

Pump It Up is really popular with the kids in my neighborhood, so I'd vote for that one.

Oh that sounds like a blast! Thanks! I will be having 7 thru 9 year olds.

Oh man that place looks fun. Too bad we don't have one here in MO. Maybe I should open up a franchise! ;)

We had our sons 4th birthday party at Pump It Up this past December. It was expensive, but AWESOME. Beware they "suggested tips" for the attendants (IE: teens who supervised the kids in the jump rooms and passed out pizza) which was not added in to our original figures.

Those things are a goldmine! Wish we could open one. :thumbsup2

I hear ya! Actually the area I live in, could use one a little closer. Someone should do it. Anyway, do you remember the amount you tipped?
