Bounce back rumors?

Has anyone heard anything about any bounce back programs going on this winter? Last year I booked a September trip during my December vacation. I am going again in two weeks and wonder if it will be offered - or IS being offered and I just have not heard about it?

There IS a Bounceback special going on right now for people staying at a WDW resort but it's not the same one for free dining that was offered last year

Per mousesavers this is what is being offered right now, but could change at any time:

Bounceback Discount Promotion

This offer is available ONLY to guests staying at one of the official Walt Disney World resorts and could end at any time.

Using a special phone number provided on a flyer provided in some resort rooms, you can book a room for stays during selected 2007-2008 low season dates (in December, January, February, March, April, August and September), at a Walt Disney World resort and receive a discount of 20% off rack rates at Value resorts; 30% off rack rates at Moderate and Deluxe resorts; or 40% off rack rates at DVC/Deluxe Villa resorts.

The specific dates reported so far include:

Moderate resorts, 30% off most nights 12/9/07-12/15/07; 1/6/08-2/2/08; 2/24/08-3/1/08; 3/30/08-4/21/08; 8/10/08-9/27/08

Deluxe resorts, 30% off most nights 12/9/07-12/15/07; 1/6/08-2/2/08; 2/24/08-3/1/08; 3/30/08-4/21/08; 8/10/08-9/27/08

DVC/Deluxe Villa resorts, 40% off for most Sunday-Thursday nights 1/6/08-2/2/08; most nights 2/24/08-2/28/08; 3/30/08-4/21/08; 8/10/08-9/27/08

If you don't get the offer on a flyer in your room, I recommend asking at the front desk. I've also seen reports that the resort TV channel was showing this offer.

Reservation for 2008 must be made before you check out to qualify, and there are no exceptions made. A deposit of one night's room and tax is required at time of reservation.

We're leaving next Wednesday, hoping to book Bounce Back for next August. We'll be home Sunday (12/16) so I will post whatever info I am able to get as soon as we get home.

We booked free dining on Bounce Back last December, but I think the 30% off is actually a better deal.

i just got an email from disney offering me the special rates during the times that everyone has been talking about for the "bounce back"...and I have never even been before.

We will be checking in on the 28th...but the email said to book by the 23rd to receive a call from Mickey Mouse on Christmas Day....

needless to say...I am talking it over with the DH...
And hopefully I will get my return trip before even taking this trip!!!

I too, received the email and though it includes various dates throughout 2008 to book, "and receive a call from Mickey". It appears the rate for this package is not discounted. Just rack rate. It is 58/per person, not per night. It is definately not 30% off, like the current bounce back offer that is ongoing at WDW. (See prior post). It has been available to book since 11/23.
Looks like there way of marketing the "X-mas morning Mickey phone call."

You must be a registered guest at a WDW resort when you call. They check your reservation to make sure you are calling during your stay. We just came home last night. We booked Beach Club for a week next August.
