Bounce Back Eligibility

So with the free dining bounce back being offered for next August 11 on... could I fly down to Disney myself and stay one night and thus book the bounce back offer for my family of 4's 12 day trip next summer in doing so? Cost would be about 400 dollars to do so. Cost of food next summer will be about 2k. Seems like maybe worth my while if it'll work.

You could. You only need one night stay.

The issue may be that if your dates are very firm for the summer trip, it may be for nothing. Availability for specific dates/resorts is by no means guaranteed or universal.

Yes it will work. All you have to do is be staying at WDW, and call the extension to book from your resort room. Of course if the resort and room type you want is not available when you get there for the dates you want, you'll have to change something.
