Bounce Back Clarification

I see quite a bit here and there on bounceback offers. What exactly is it? I'm guessing you get a discount if you book another trip within a certain amount of time after your past trip.. ? If this is the case, how long after your last trip do you have to get this offer? I'm assuming to book , we need to only do it on the phone? TIA for any help on this.

Bounceback offers are usually found in your resort room, but can also be accessed by dialing 8844 from your resort room. You have to book the offer no later than your check out day, otherwise it is gone for good!

I think BB offers are now left in the welcome packet you get at check in. If there isn't one, you can call X8844 and ask what (if any) discounts are available.
